JuSyS® Air

Pure air fights tube wall corrosion.

Full volume SiC tube wall tiles are hung with low residual stress in heat-resistant, metallic anchoring and held to the tube wall system. A constant air gap between tube wall and SiC tile – with slight excess pressure – prevents to a high degree the diffusion of damaging flue gases at the suspension parts and tube wall. This prevents corrosion of these parts.

In case of repair one can prevent high consequential costs (sandblasting, removal and new placement of studs, additional pressure test etc.), shorter maintenance times leading to higher availability.

JuSyS® Standard

For application where things get hot

 

Full volume SiC tube wall tiles are held to the tube wall system in heat-resistant, metallic anchoring. The tiles are designed in such a way that each individual tile stands on one restraint console (bracket). SiC mastic is between tube wall and the SiC tile.

The tile system is stable. Two restraint brackets fixate each tile. Movement of the tube wall is transmitted in “cushioned“ mode to the tile system as result of the SiC mastic behind the tile.

JuSyS® SL

Low residual stress despite tight connection to boiler.

 

Full volume SiC tube wall tiles are held to the tube wall system in heat-resistant, metallic anchoring together with refractory castable that ensures low residual stress. Due to this fixation with low residual stress there is no transmission of force as result of movement by the tube wall. A defined gap, which occurs as result of evaporation of a specifically developed inlay, effects the force and stress decoupling. JuSyS® SL, SL stands for “stress less“.

JuSyS® XC

For eXtreme Conditions

Peripheral expansion joint to deal with high temperatures. Closed expansion joints prevent corrosion. The system ensures high thermal conductivity and shoves independent of the boiler – similar to JuSyS® Air.

Simple replacement in case of repair, such as is the case for JuSyS® Standard. Small tile design and, consequently, very flexible.

JuSyS® Flex

The flexible hybrid tile system. The refractory compensator.

A flexible hybrid tile system was developed to compensate the cumulating stress in the area of the intermediate collector. It consists of a metallic supporting tile which is protected by refractory segments. To prevent corrosion the tile is completely purged with fresh air just as is the case with JuSyS® Air.

It is highly flexible to adsorb system stress and boiler movements during non-stationary operation modes. Has provided good service life as compensator at the transition of hardly flexible tile systems (rear-casted and glued) over against JuSyS® Air.

JuSyS CFB-bw (boiler wall)

Ceramic tile system for boiler walls in circulating fluidized bed plants.

Transmission of the proven tube wall protection system from the refuse incineration sector to the circulating fluidized bed plant having significantly higher stress on the tile surface due to sand, ash and inert materials.

A special design of the tile joints and use of a highly abrasion-resistant and refractory special mix to close the joints makes JuSyS® CFB-bw unique and a real alternative to the standard lining out of refractory mixes.

A further advantage in case tiles have to be replaced during maintenance shutdowns is that the time required for replacement can be reduced by 30 to 50 % compared to the standard lining out of refractory castables. Consequently, this means lower maintenance costs and higher plant availability.

JuSyS® CFB-iw (insulated wall)

Ceramic lining system for adiabatic and insulated brickwork areas in circulating fluidized bed plants.

Continued further development of the ceramic tile system JuSyS® CFB-bw for membrane walls and also adiabatic plant parts. Basic refractory component with sophisticated design, centrally positioned metallic restraint elements and a highly abrasion-resistant special refractory mix to close the joints are the main features of the system. A self-flowing pouring mix ensures the positive connection to the rear insulation.

It is possible to line large surfaces due to slight overall expansion. There is reduced movement of the system during startup or shutdown of the plant enabling far less intake of ash.

Ceramic Nozzle Grate

The high temperature circulating fluidized bed is directly connected to Jünger+Gräter ceramic tuyere bottom technology.

The high temperature circulating fluidized bed is directly connected to Jünger+Gräter ceramic nozzle grate technology. The ceramic nozzle grate is certainly one of the most revolutionary concepts among the utility models and patents belonging to Jünger+Gräter. They provide technological advantages at high temperature where standard nozzle grates having a steel construction will no longer fulfill service requirements. 

In addition to high thermal resistance, the specially developed J+G design prevents leaks in the nozzle grate itself and in the surrounding areas of the furnace casing. Leaks can cause damaging bypass streams due to the difference in pressure.

Based on the used refractory materials and the special design of the ceramic nozzle grate it will be possible to achieve very long service lives if paying attention to the process conditions. Jünger+Gräter has installed and successfully commissioned over 200 ceramic nozzle grates around the world. Ceramic nozzle grates have been built with diameters ranging from 500 to 8,000 mm. They can be operated with operation pressures up to 2 bar.

JUCAN

Regardless if CAst or GuN, one refractory castable is sufficient. JUCAN combines both possibilities of application (casting and gunning) with the performance of low cement refractory castables.

High performance refractory castable with the addition of a special gunning additive can be applied very well with a standard dry gunning machine and a high pressure nozzle. Gunning loss is in the range of comparable standard gunning castables.

Only one product for various applications that possesses superb property values for abrasion and strength. Regardless if gunned or cast. There is also a longer shelf life and high installation flexibility. Furthermore, the product has good resistance to alkalis.

JUFAST

Quick heating-up combined with superb performance.

 

High performance refractory castables with substantially improved heating-up behavior compared to standard refractory castables. Linear heating-up with 75K/h without defined holding times and low heat development while setting and without any phosphoric acid in the binder.

A far more economic product compared to castables containing phosphoric acid, good thermal shock and alkali resistance.

JuSyS® ACL

Refractory system for plant areas in the cement industry subjected to intense corrosion.

ACL stands for “Anti Corrosion Lining“ and protects the lining by way of the “rear ventilation“ with fresh air with slight excess pressure. This creates an almost “clean atmosphere” in the lining. Furthermore, this prevents corrosion of the refractories and specifically of the metallic anchoring.

The system thus offers long-term protection against corrosion by way of a simple technique. A better insulation is also possible enabling lower furnace wall temperatures and better protection of persons in the area. The result of this system is less heat loss meaning less fuel and lower CO2-emissions.
